I should have written: "IF I have ideas..." There is no guarantee. : )

I'll do that. I think the docs are in decent shape. I have ideas that seem helpful, use what you can, leave the rest. dan -------------------------------------------- On Fri, 12/13/13, Scott Kostyshak <[email protected]> wrote: Subject: Re: page 2 in the Tutorial To: "DWL" <[email protected]> Cc: "LyX Documentation Team" <[email protected]> Date: Friday, December 13, 2013, 9:20 PM On Sun, Dec 8, 2013 at 8:40 PM, DWL <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, > > I'm working through the Tutorial file. I'm not sure how common it is that the verso side of a title page has a page number in a book. To be sure, it's a minor quibble, but as this is a document that introduces people to the software, I figure it should be as flawless as possible. > > I'm using Mac version 2.0.6. > > Thanks, > dan Hi Dan, Any suggestions you make will be appreciated. They will eventually be looked at by a LyX developer although it could take some time. However, the best way for you to help would be to look at the most recent manuals. You can do this by installing LyX 2.1 beta 2: ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/devel/lyx-2.1/lyx-2.1.0beta2 Then, when you make your changes, please turn change tracking on. If you're not able to do that, no problem. It will just be harder to incorporate your changes. Thanks for your contributions, Scott
