If things are agreed upon, as Uwe says, I am willing to go through my
manual, and update it, if necessary.
However, due to a lot of commitments, this will not be before end of May.
Best regards,
H.Peter

From what I understand, Peter has no interest in including the changes
that Francisco made into the English version, and I also got the
understanding that Peter did not think that would improve the manual
anyway (Peter touched on the most important parts and did not want to
cover all of the features of XY-pic.
I agree with him that LyX's manual should not act as the xy-pic
manual. It should only be there to explain how xy-pic can be used with
LyX. If one needs expert settings, see the xy-pic manual. We follow
this idea also with the other example files (braille, pdfcomment etc.)
and that is why we say these are examples and no manuals.
My proposal (unless Peter or someone else objects) is to commit
Francisco's manual and just use a different name for the file (any
proposals for the name?).
I strongly object to that. We have one base of information. All
languages must contain the same information. It is not acceptable that
users of a certain language get more information than others. If a
file is not translated to a language we have the English version as
the reference and as base.
So either the additional things of Francisco's version are integrated
to Peter's version (our base) (is Peter's decision) or Peter denies
that and we ask Ignacio to translate to Spanish what we have right now.
Sorry if this sounds rude but this topic is now unresolved for months
and I want to make a decision.
regards Uwe
