Officially it's 0.12.1, but there is a pre-1.0 on the main lyx ftp site

Well, actually there are several mailing lists. kLyX is a variant of LyX,
with the KDE libraries and look&feel. It has a few operational
differences from LyX as well. It is hoped that this parallel development
will merge when LyX develops the ability to link one of several GUI
libraries (either KDE, or Xforms, or Gtk, etc).
