What I'd like to have is (cut; paste). And this is automatically in Word, when you have marked a text, just by dragging the text around with middle mouse button pressed. Have you used Word or StarOffice? This is IMHO a very useful feature of them. Even better would be a general editor for customizing sequences of commands. Then I could make this thing myself. I think you have done a GREAT job in letting the user define those layouts; and you could do the same with - keyboard clicks - arbitrary commands - complex Latex commands.
