Yes indeed this would be very handy but is not possible at the moment,
maybe in the next public release 0.13, when we recoded the kernel.

This is possible since version 0.12.1pre5. Just look in the table-layout
menu and press on the "Extra Opt." button, then you can redefine the column
header and use some packages as dcolumn.sty which does the above.

We have been contacted by people who had interest in the port, but
then we didn't hear anything from them. So till there is someone willing
to work on it the won't be a version ready ;)
