I installed lyx-0.12.0-linux-elf-x86-libc-bin.tar.gz today under Redhat
Linux 4.2. The installation was flawless but when I tried to start it the
message "Check that file textclass.lst is installed correctly..."
appeared. I cannot find such a file anywhere. Can anyone provide the
information I need to create it? Are there any other necessary files that
I should be aware of that may not have been in the distribution package?

.....It said "Requires Windows 95 or better"... So I installed Linux....
