Bill,
In general you can tell configure where to search for extra libs
and include files with the option:
./configure --with-extra-lib=/usr/local/lib --with-extra-inc=/usr/local/include
Here demonstrated to search files under /usr/local/{lib,include} where
xforms was installed in the old days.
You may have to search for an older installation though, i.e.
maybe you have an older version ofo it still lurking around.
If you have the gnu filetools try to locate the old version (locate libform)
and you'll see.
Yeah, xforms sucks :-)
I wish they'd get rid of it soon.
