Is there a document class somewhere that is a combination of book and linuxdoc?
I am trying to write up documentation for some of the tools that I have written
(possible candidates for public release). I used to write them in html (ick)
until I found lyx. Currently I am using the linuxdoc class, which seems to
have trouble with tables and lacks some of the listing styles that are avaible
with book.
I am not a latex guru... nor do i ever really want to be one, but I do like the
ability to have once source file (in a reasonably wysiwyg gui) that I can
produce ps and html versions from it. Does there exists such a class that
covers both? If not how does one convert a book type to sgml, if that is even
possible and how does one add linuxdoc urls to a book.
I was using sgml-tools to convert the linuxdoc to html, but I found that
latex2html works well for book types. I guess I am generally confused about
many *tex things and could use some help so I can get this done in a timely
fashion that won't drive me completly mad.
If anyone has any thoughts please let me know.
Thanks
