Hi LyXers,
I tried to used the latex inport facility in LyX v. 1.0.0pre2
and found strange results.
Here two latex files are attached that i successfully converted into dvi
format (using TeTeX 0.98) and then viewd through xdvi (on a libc6 based
linux platform, ker 2.0.36).
Yet, LyX was unable to accomplish the same task, apparently for two
distinct reasons:
hamiltonian.tex: LyX cannot import the file complaining that probably it
is a truncated file.
braids.tex LyX successfully read the latex file but it was not
able to disply the dvi format due to 141 errors (!).
Can anybody explain what is happened?
