I need to input a very long equation (about 45 terms) and I'm wondering what the best way to do this in lyx is? I entered about 1/2 a dozen terms and did a view ghostscript to see how it looks and the equation ran off the end of the page. I tried breaking it up into pieces but then lyx put too much space between the lines. I know how to do multi-line equations, but the 3 equation boxes it generates on each line ( x = y format) seems rather awkward. Im hoping there is a better way to do this? Ideally I'd just like to type out all the terms and have lyx break it up into different lines before it runs off the edge of the page. Is there a way to do this? Thank you. :)
