Hi,
I'm new to this list, so I'm not shure if this
is a FAQ , but I couldn't find any references regarding my problem on neither
the Lyx web site nor any other newsgroup.
The problem I have is with include files in
nested directories.
If I have the following file structure
:
~/file1.lyx
includes file dir11/file11.lyx with the "input" option,
and
~/dir11/file11.lyx includes file
dir111/file111.lyx with the "input" option, and there is a
file
~/dir11/dir111/file111.lyx.
If I try to view the complete output as DVI, I
get an error message similar to :
Error: File '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' not
found
It seems to my that lyx is resolving pathes
relative to the current files directory, while LateX(TeX) resolves them relative
to the root documents location.
There is a similar problem if I try to export the root
document as a LateX document : The file ~/dir11/file11.tex contains a
/input{dir111/file111.lyx} statement making the LateX run fail with a
"Error File 'dir/111/file111.tex' not found" error
message.
The problem is reproducable in both versions 1.0.2 and
1.0.4pre2. May be I shouldn't have skipped the 1.0.3 version ? :-)
Bye,
-Alfred
