I've got an access to an alpha station, under digital unix :
crabe:/prof/ymorere/personal/lyx-1.1.3>uname -a
OSF1 crabe V4.0 564 alpha
crabe:/prof/ymorere/personal/lyx-1.1.3>
there were no xforms libs, so i downloaded the libs for it from
ftp://ftp.cs.ruu.nl/pub/XFORMS/dec-alpha/4.x/
i installed the bxform-088.tgz 1320 Kb Sun Mar 07 00:00:00 1999 WinZip

in my directory /prof/ymorere/personal/xforms by modifing the mkconfig.h file
il launch le lyx 1.1.3 configure with these options :
./configure --with-extra-inc=/prof/ymorere/personal/xforms/include
--with-extra-
lib=/prof/ymorere/personal/xforms/lib --prefix=/prof/ymorere/personal/lyx
the compilation terminated successfully, but when i tried src/lyx the
system return me this error :
crabe:/prof/ymorere/personal/lyx-1.1.3>src/lyx
23155:src/lyx: /sbin/loader: Fatal Error: cannot map libforms.so.0.88

Did i forget something in the compilation
I must say that i cannot become root on this machine, so is there a
possibility to run it without.
