| For me it works nice, but to obtain accented chars I use:
| 0. properly set X fonts and xmodmap
| 00. not using *.kmap -- I mean kmap set to default
| 1. document language set to polish
| 2. encoding set to latin2
| 3. in preamble entered:

| \usepackage[latin2]{inputenc}
mmm.. the latin2 map has not been updated.
