Hello world,
As a newby with lyx_1.0.1 under SunOS, I have 3 problems related
to pictures files. Shared experience may help me fix that.
1- symbolic link
I have a picture directory, say Figures, and instead of creating a symb. link
for each figure I use in my LyX directory, I have linked a LyX/Fig dir
to the true Figures directory.
I just have to call Fig/mypicture.eps wherever I am, which is neat.
But this is less clever when I use .pstex and .pstex_t files, since
it does not find the .pstex file, and outputs me a kind of
bounding box error.
Is there a way to overcome the problem (without linking to the "missing" file)?
2- overrun error
I haven't found this in the doc, but is it possible to compile
in a "no-complaint" mode (view or print the file with remaining errors,
what one can do w/ LaTeX)?
3- Translated .pstex (not directly a LyX problem, I think)
Got a .pstex and a .pstex_t file, w/ formulas.
They appear quite correctly, except there is a big blank space
on the left, where a big formula lies in my original Xfig file.
Doesn't Xfig check the right side?
I have included the files (lyx, fig and pstex).
