Try the following simple thing

Insert:

\usepackage{amsfonts}

in the latex preamble


then in the matheditor type:
 \mathbb{R}   or
\mathbb{N}   or
\mathbb{C}   or
\mathbb{Q}   or
\mathbb{Z}
