special key / compose

Hi:

I know I am about to display my ignorance - for which I can only
apologise - but some help would be appreciated..

I am trying to write about Patocka. The `c' in his name has a small `v'
above it. How do I get LyX to do this (presumably with the compose
key), and what is it called?
