That is the good news. I kept trying to run LyX
and one time it said "you have no personal dir
do you to create for you" I said yes.
Things are a bit different. The first time I could
read the tutorial and manual. Now I get an error
message about tabular format <5 is not supported
use an old version of LyX; which I do not have.
However I can read 'contents' which is also in
the choices of the help button. Maybe I can find
another, newer version of those docs. It is odd
that I cannot read the same files now. Maybe
because those files are much larger?
If I close LyX and re-open, the color is weird.
So I end task the x-window server and when
boths apps reload the color is ok. I dont see
any easy way to set the environment. I tried
in the c:\config.sys but get an error message.
