bold greek/math characters

Thanks Guys,

I followed your instructions Angus and sure enough I  got bold math. 
However Lyx now makes the first page of my paper blank which is fine I
guess but will be a pain when I come to use PStools on it, to turn it into
a 2up booklet. Is that easy to fix?
