Hyphenation deos not seem to work well, may be you're in a
two-column document ?
It is possible to relax the hyphenation control, but this must
not be done in géneral, only for special cases.

You should first check your latex install for a correct hyphenation
file (having it in the latex tree is not enough, the format
must have been remade with it).
