Hi all,
I have a master document with a number of child documents.
Everything exports to PDF without problem.
Now I found that Documents > Settings > Language Encoding are set different in the master and in some of the child documents.

In the Master document and in some of the Child documents
Language: English (USA)
Encoding: Language Default
Language Package: Default

In some Child documents Encoding is set to: Other: Language Default (no inputenc).

As I said before - there are no problems with my documents but when I tried to use the spell checker it
- either complains not to have the dictionaries
- or can find no miss-spellings.

I have to disagree
- the path to hunspell is set to: /usr/share/hunspell with the .dic and .aff files in /usr/share/ hunspell
- I inserted some heavy typos in text to be checked.

I have no real need of the spell checker (in fact I never used it before) yet would like to know what is wrong here.

PS: I tried spell checking with other LyX documents > same failure. Furthermore placing the .aff and .dic files in other sub-directories of the /usr/share/... path > no remedy.

Interface language = English (USA)
Document language = English
Alternative language = German
Lyx 2.1.2, openSUSE 13.2, KDE 4.14.4

Thanks and Cheers!
Michael
