LyX does not support a command called \biggg. If you use special
commands, not supported by LyX you must load the package that provides
this command in your document preamble.
The size commands supported by LyX are listed in sec. 5.1.1 of LyX's
math manual that you find in LyX's Help menu.
Please file a bug about this. Presumably, there is some package we are
not loading.
No, this is not a bug but the normal way since it is impossible for
LyX to support all of the countless commands that a package might define.
As the rest of the thread showed, there is a bug here: \biggg pops up in
the completion menu.
