Hello, It seems like only the preamble of the master document is inherited to the child document along with the bibliography and labels. Properties such as document class, modules and other properties are not inherited by the child document. Is this true?
For the case of document class, I have this issue that if I change the document class in master document, LyX gives a warning for each child document that each child document has a different class, when I want to preview the PDF file. This is quite bothering. While I can turn off this warning, I would like to keep it for future use. Similarly, if I want to change some other properties, i.e. the ones from in the document settings, I have to change them in each of the child document one by one. This would be quite time consuming if I want to try out various options for a given property and if I have many child documents. Thanks for your comments.
