It's been a long time since I've made a custom converter, so I don't
know off-hand.

Does it do what you want if you remove "latex=pdflatex" in the converter
flag for the converter LaTeX (pdflatex) -> PDF (pdflatex)? (if you use
something other than pdfLaTeX, adapt accordingly).
