Does not show the PDF figure in the LyX GUI, or does not show it in the
compiled PDF file? I just ran it here (LyX 2.3.2 on Linux Mint 18.3).
The PDF graphic displays fine in the GUI. I had to switch from LuaTeX
fonts to standard ones and compile with pdflatex (to avoid missing font
errors), but the compiled PDF file had both graphics.
