LinuxDoc is something that preceded DocBook, LinuxDoc was used for the LDP (Linux Documentation Project) and was obsoleted by DocBook. Unless you are required to use LinuxDoc, avoid it and use DocBook itself. DocBook is the more advancend markup and is available in SGML and XML flavours, LyX currently supports only the SGML flavour and you need to have the tools to process it. I'm not versed in the exact tools that are needed though, maybe someone else will be able to give instructions in this area. > 2. What you are missing is the stylesheets, the stylesheets define how to translate the DocBook markup to any other markup, including but not limited to, HTML and TeX. You need the SGML version of the stylesheets since LyX creates the SGML version of DocBook. Hope this helps. -- Baruch Even http://baruch.ev-en.org/
