However, you can do File|Export|Latex and look at the .tex file to see how LyX
tells LaTeX what you mean.
(More than this, you can also play around with the code and use LaTeX "by hand"
to compile it and see what happens.)
Thus I suppose there is no need for a separate "show me the code" window.
