This is new and strange, and I don't know what to do. I imported an ASCII
text file (as paragraphs) into lyx-1.1.6fix3 and set the font type to
Palatino. The dvi preview is correct, but when I print it to a file (.ps),
the word "first" has the "fi" converted to an upper-case theta!
This holds true for the pslatex and Times fonts, too.
Can someone suggest a solution to this? I cannot send the file as a pdf,
nor printed until I correct this problem. I've not seen this in the
half-dozen or so documents I've created in LyX over the past couple of
weeks.
I can send the gzipped .ps or .pdf file if that would help.
