% ftp ftp.sylvan.com
User is "anonymous", password is your own email.
Then:
ftp> cd pub/lyx
You will see two lyx-1.1.6fix3 RPMs there for ppc:
4427133 Aug 19 03:50 lyx-1.1.6fix3-1.ppc.rpm
24325 Aug 19 03:50 tetex-lyx-1.1.6fix3-1.ppc.rpm
Set your mode to binary:
ftp> bin
Then do an mget:
ftp> mget *ppc*
You should now be able to install these.
