No it won't. If your big EPS figures were created from bitmap images, then you can create them again, but this time create Postscript level 2 files (e.g. convert foo.gif eps2:foo.eps ), and don't compress the EPS files. However, note that the result Postscript file cannot be printed on old Postscript printers.
