Type:

2 0 Control-m ^ \textrm SPACE { th

That is, use mathmode and superscript. At least in the latest CVS version,
when I type \textrm followed by space and "{", I get a nice blue box and
the enclosing "}" automatically. The blue box is where the "th" goes.

There might be other, better ways to do this as well.
