Allen,
Thank you for the response. It is just what I would expect and is
right in line with the Lyx construct(which is wonderful).
However, I am not getting the new minipage when I use paragraph layout to
"start a new minipage" unless I also start a new paragraph and then the
purpose is lost. I also do not get teh "inset label" you speak of. Is it
possible that there is a configuration or set-up issue?. I installed
version 1.1.6fix4 last night(Openlinux 2.4e), the compile went well and
all seems to be working, except that I still can not get minipage to work
right. If I am somehow just missing the most basic point, smack me with
the big stick .
p.s I have read the documentation.
