It didn't seem to "just work". Looking at the test, this isn't really
a problem, just because the fileref wasn't to the actual file (which
could be fixed by hand). As for rendering figure reference numbers, I
guess this is down to the docbook rendering tools (but they didn't
come out when previewed from lyx).

Hmm, I'd never come across pybibliographer before; it looks
interesting.

I quickly knocked up an example in lyx the other day. I then exported
as SGML and passed it to db2ps (part of the docbook-utils RedHat
package), but it didn't work. I'll mail you the file off list.

In reality, I don't currently have the time to fix/debug features or
run an unstable version from CVS. I have one of those dealine things
to meet :(
I'm quite happy to accept that DocBook support isn't quite there yet,
and carry on with latex output (which might be what I ended up using
for rendering anyway - there's a fairly specific style I need to use).

However, I'd still like to make the switch to docbook eventually, so
once current pressures have passed I should be back to have another
go.

Regards,

kev
