no, I don't how many figures do you have. That is strange if a lot of
image should be converted into lyx images. Need very long time until the
document is ready for editing. The old lyx (1.1.6) have open/close
floating images. You can directly close all of your images after opening
your document... It is suitable for faster editing the text.
