In the preamble
 \parindent 0 mm
\parskip 2 mm

That should give you a 2mm space between paragraphs instead of an 
indent, though there's probably a more elegant way. If this is what you 
want to use most of the time, then use a document class that doesn't 
indent by default, or hack a layout file.
