Donno, because 1.2.0 is very buggy compared with 1.1.6fix4, and more importantly, because the switch from 1.1 to 1.2 is a point of no return, due to lack of backward compatibility, I have decided to stick with 1.1.6fix4. I do have 1.2.0 as a local install, for those documents that 1.1 can't read because I have saved them with 1.2. Since I wrote a lyx-1.2 to lyx-1.1 converter --- http://www.spme.monash.edu.au/~stevenh/Public/lyx1.2-to-lyx1.1/ --- I have stopped using Lyx 1.2 altogether.
