Hi,
        In connection to this question, I have had a question to ask
for quite some time now. I'm writing my thesis using the Report
class and how do I avoid the date appearing with the Title. As
of now I can see a Title, author followed by the current date.

Thank You,

Koundinya

->        \null
->        \vskip 2em%
->        \begin{center}%
->        \let \footnote \thanks
->               {\LARGE \@title \par}%
->               \vskip 1.5em%
->               {\large
->                      \lineskip .5em%
->                      \begin{tabular}[t]{c}%
->                        \@author
->                      \end{tabular}\par}%
-> % comment out printing of date
-> % and improper vertical space
->               %\vskip 1em%
->               %{\large \@date}%
->        \end{center}%
->        \par
->        \vskip 1.5em}
