But a general user can't add tips to Herber's page, right? 

I think having a central location for LyX documentation is an excellent
idea. (Maybe I am dense; maybe this already exists!)

My thinking is that LyX is harder to use than MS Word. On the other
hand, there are a lot of brains on the LyX mailing list. If we could
only pool all of this info together. 

On the same note, is there any book on LyX? Wouldn't it be nice to write
a huge book and release it under the the free software liscense?
