I think I've already reported this as a bug,

I've found two temporary ways to get around this. If you're lazy,
just restart Lyx. Otherwise, execute something like this on your prompt
(I'm assuming tcsh):
>find /tmp/lyx* -name "*.eps" -exec rm {} \;
which fill find and delete all .eps-files in Lyx's temporary
directories. But be careful, don't do any typos :-)
