Anyway, in you case, I think I understand the problem. Latex won't break between the braces so the line is too long. Here are some solutions you could try: * Put the expression P(X_n+1 = i_n+1....) on it's own line, i.e. go into it and type: A-m d * Force a new line just before this expression with C-enter * Break the expression after = i_n+1 and use a math-delimiter with an "empty" delimiter to the right, see the math panel. Then on the force a new line with C-enter and start a new math expression where you have an empty delimter on the left side. I think the first one will probably look best. /Christian PS. When doing (), I remebered another very useful shortcut: A-m ( DS > > On Sunday 02 February 2003 17:00, you wrote: > > On Sun, 2 Feb 2003, Stefano Peluchetti wrote: > > > Hemm.... i got another problem..... in the div output it does'nt wrap > > > text correctly while in the math editor you find a () expression ( > > > "math-delim ( )" to be clear). > > > In this case instead of putting the expression on the next (clear) line > > > it goes over the right edge of the paper. > > > Obviously the () expression is not so lenghty that can't be put on a > > > single line!
