Note that me and people from my nbhood use Well, it's a combination of us not really supporting unicode properly, and your system not quite set up in the right way basically. If this is a serious problem, I suggest you use the xforms frontend which should not be different from 1.2 in this respect, and wait patiently for LyX to become properly unicoded I still find it curious that I have a different set of problems to you, though. regards, john
