Kayvan,
Just for an update: I grabbed the dia-0.91 rpm but it won't install
because it wants a pango version 1.1.5 or higher, and my RH 7.3 system has
pango 1.0.4. PITA. So, I'm not pursuing it as I need to get something
working, not spend the day trying to install software.
FWIW, similar problem with sketch. It wanted python-imaging (a library).
So, I grabbed the PIL tarball and followed the instructions to build it. The
build.py script failed. So I tried the make. That seemed to work, but when I
tried to install the sketch rpm (after running ldconfig) it couldn't find
the library. Uninstalled sketch.
So, I'm down to tgif -- in which I cannot find the widget to draw splines
-- and xfig where I need to learn how to get the zig-zags out of lines.
Sigh. Not a productive day, I'm afraid.
