I know I've posted this before, but there was no reply. I would like to know if it is possible to make captions automatically adopt the width of their respective figures and tables in particular. I guess this can be hacked a bit using wrapfloats but they seem to be a bit unreliable.
there are several solutions and if I remeber well, there is an option for the different KOMA classes. You can also try http://www.perce.de/LaTeX/hvfloat/
