It's not really a problem I have, rather a question out of curiosity. I'm using koma-script report with lyx/mac 1.3.3 (german) and want to have a figure with the caption beside it. According to the scrguide koma-script provides a command \captionbeside, but so far I couldn't figure out how to use it.
Here is what I did:
1. insert -> float -> figure
2. pressed return (to insert the graphic above the caption)
3. inserted the desired graphic and deleted the "figure:#" (cause i want to have another kind of caption)
4. checked the pull-down-menue (the one where you set the proper environment like standard, chapter, section, etc.) for "captionbeside", but i only found "captionabove" and " captionbelow" - bad luck!
So I'm wondering, why the option "captionbeside" is not included in the menue. Does anybody know?
I tried to insert a figure with a caption beside via ERT, which works but moves the figure somewhere (see sample file). Any idea, why this happens?
For conversion to pdf I used dvipdfm, because pdflatex refused to recognise the eps-file. I know that I can use minipages to achieve what I want - nevertheless, since koma-script offers such a nice option, I'd like to use it.
Regards, Katrin
