I suppose you are working under windows. In this case you have always the option to use the old 8.3-names (AFAIR this has already been suggested on the list). To obtain them, simply type "dir /x" in the command-shell. This is not satisfying, I know, but a workaround for "small" problems.I am new with Lyx but when trying to use my directories with the names they have now, aparently Latex, and so viewing and printing Lyx files, do not work because they contain empty spaces in their names. I have found the same problem when trying to import an images.
Is there a way to handle this "small" problem.
