I have been successfully using the AGU plus and AGU ms classes with a little (a lot) of much appreciated assistance from Martin Vermeer and Angus Leeming. However, it has required some trickery that includes exporting the lyx document as latex, and running a shell script on the latex document that removes natbib references in the file. I have all AGU .cls .bst .sty, and .layout files installed. In the document window I then choose the appropriate AGU class and specify the appropriate AGU options.
Now it seems in version 1.3.4, that this has been simplified, and that these classes have been formally added to LyX, however these show up in the document class list as
Unavailable: article (AGU)
and
Unvailable: article (AGU ms)
How exactly does one make these "unavailable"?
