Well, I forgot to mention the special case of the "i".
If you want an accent above the "i" without the i-dot, then you have to
use \i instead of i, i.e.:
\={\i} for the long-i as in piti.
One question, where I�ve not found a solution until now, are "double
accents" (accent over an accent over a character), which are sometimes
found in p�li or sanskrit. Any suggestion for this?
