$\textrm{\j}$ gives me a black square (but ok with CM fonts?)$\jmath$ doesn't cut it because I need an upright bold version
The character is there, as seen in pazotest.pdf that comes with mathpazo documentation. The only way I managed to get it is defining my own command (modelled according to \ppleuro in mathpazo.sty):
\newcommand{\dotlessj}{{\fontencoding{U}\fontfamily{fplm}\selectfont \char226}}
Isn't there an easier way? Any reason why \j or \dotlessj aren't defined in mathpazo.sty already?
