I disagree. I often want to check the subject lines of new mail without downloading it to the client. Usually I want to see none mailing list messages, so I pipe through grep: 'nfrm | grep -v LUG | grep -v development'. Without anything to grep on this list, I see all the subject lines of messages I know I don't want to read. To me, *that* is clutter. > Use the From field to filter your mail into separate folders.
