This may have been covered before, but I have no record of this.
At the top of the title page of a report class document I placed an .eps graphic (company logo). Using the advice I was given here, I clipped it to the bounding box. It displays very well on the .lyx file, but it's not visible on either the .dvi preview or the .pdf output.
What simple thing have I overlooked?
