The problem (bug) is a conflict between "/" (Unix paths) and "\" (Windows
paths) ... When you open the .lyx document with the Windows Explorer, the
path is not correct (for LyX) and, then, LyX does not copy the .pdf in the
temporary folder (but at the top of the hard disk (C:\)) and, then, Acrobat
can't find the .pdf ...

I know this is true for the *.lyx files but Reader should and did used to 
find the pdf files but itself.
